Teaches students how they can create and stick to an effective study program based on their own needs.
Study skills and test preparation are the themes of this CD-ROM. Utilizing all of the benefits of multimedia learning systems, this exciting program stimulates students with fast-paced video clips, colorful screens, and the power of interaction. Users are given the option of exploring a specific skill or technique in which they need improvement or completing the full program for a detailed lesson on how they can improve their study habits and grades. They may then return to individual sections of the program to review information or re-execute exercises.
The CD-ROM is organized into two separate modules: Learning Skills and Test Preparation. In the Learning Skills module, students learn how to create a program which is tailored for their own specific needs. Additionally, they learn proven techniques that will help any student learn, understand, and retain information. Through video clips and on-screen examples, students learn how to be relaxed and prepared for test time—whatever the test-taking situation.
