Since its emergence in the 1960s and early 1970s, video art has been both a hothouse and a sanctuary for radical modes of expression disparaged by the mainstream art community. This program combines film clips and interviews with artists John Wood and Paul Harrison to consider a medium that continues to fly in the face of the fine art tradition and the culture industry.
