The march of globalization continues. For many members of the world community it is a march to wealth—while others are being left behind. Filmed on location in Angola, Bolivia, and the South Pacific nation of Tuvalu, this three-part series clearly shows the impact of globalization and industrialization on those countries. Interviews with community activists, political leaders, and everyday citizens bring home the economic, sociological, and psychological dimensions of the planet’s growing connectedness—as well as its festering divisions. Portions are in other languages with English subtitles. 3-part series, 25 minutes each.
