The short answer to what many boomers are asking themselves is: no, you’re never too old for sex. It’s just that more considerations—from health risks to confidence issues—become part of the sexual equation as we age. In this program, Dr. Bean Robinson, Associate Director of the University of Minnesota’s Program in Human Sexuality, asserts that sex is basic to human satisfaction, no matter how young or old we are. The program also looks at differences in how men and women deal with their sexuality over the years—many women become more confident in expressing and acting on their needs and desires, while men may have fears about “performing.” Topics related to frequency of sex and increased sexual satisfaction in old age are discussed.
