The purpose of this video is to inform new parents of typical procedures doctors and healthcare professionals follow during normal well-baby check-ups. This program gives advice to parents and expectant parents on the recommended schedule of well-baby visits, the normal evaluations a doctor or healthcare provider will perform on the child at each visit, the usual time when certain tests will be performed on the child (blood tests, eye screenings, etc.), what questions will likely be asked by the doctor, and what questions parents should ask of the doctor. Information is delivered utilizing video, on-screen graphics, narration, and interviews with pediatricians. Entertaining scenes with young children add humor and warmth to this well-thought-out production. A must for every new parent!
