There are as many different types of window treatments as there are wardrobe choices for clothing. From heavily draped windows to simple café curtains, the challenge is to select a covering that is right for the window type, the decorating style, and the budget limits. Viewers get a great overview of the basics including the different types of windows (double-hung, casement, patio doors, etc.) as well as the different types of window treatments (curtains and drapes, shades and blinds, toppers, specialty ideas). Not only will students recognize the ins and outs of dressing windows, but they will also be shown how to measure windows for various treatment options.
