As any automotive technician understands, the world of car technology is now fully computerized. This series provides a basic working knowledge of automotive computer systems and the ins and outs of OBD-II diagnostics. Students will absorb lessons in computer system operation, trouble codes, scan tools, and repair procedures. Ford, GM, Chrysler, and other makes are discussed, while hybrid engine technology is also addressed. Videos can stand alone or as a series for both beginning automotive students and more advanced classes.
