The Facts about MRSA

How much of the media coverage of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus—a superbug considered deadly, out of control, and incurable—is misleading or even flat-out wrong? This program, designed to assist doctors and nurses in identifying and treating patients with MRSA, provides essential information on how the pathogen is transmitted, who is most highly at risk, and treatment with intravenous antibiotics such as vancomycin and teicoplanin.
