A digital collection of images is only as effective as the functionality supporting it. Users of the Medical Images Library can scan topics by category or search by keyword and ICD-10 number to easily find whatever images they need. Then, using drag-and-drop technology to load virtual carousels, they can arrange their images into slide shows, complete with captions and a title slide, to elucidate and add impact to lessons, lectures, and projects. All images are downloadable and printable, for use in reports and as handouts, and every slide show can be saved electronically for future use. A printable index of image data is incorporated into the program, and a user’s guide is included.
