Like Saddam-era Iraq, Pakistan is a militarily threatening country. Like North Korea, Pakistan has nuclear weapons. Like Iran, Pakistan is a haven for terrorists. But instead of being blacklisted as a member of the Axis of Evil, Pakistan was instead dubbed a key regional ally of the United States in its war on terror.
