Returning to the larger themes of organic evolution, we again use the Hardy-Weinberg model, focusing on how the equilibrium of a population may be disturbed. Stabilizing, directional, and disruptive evolutionary phenomena are examined and we touch on the theory of random genetic drift. (10 minutes)
