Stop It! Students Speak Out about Sexual Harassment

Students speaking out themselves about inappropriate sexual behavior make this program particularly effective in raising awareness about sexual harassment. The program addresses sexual harassment from the student point of view, from the experiences of those who have perpetrated it and of those who have been victimized by it. It helps students identify different kinds of sexual harassment, and it spells out clearly which behaviors are appropriate and which are not. The program is designed to stimulate discussion among students, faculty, and staff. It details the impact of harassment on victims, and advises students as to what actions they can take to stop harassment when it occurs. (18 minutes)
