In this program, Dr. Allen Selner, DPM, performs a tri-correctional bunionectomy, a three-dimensional realignment of the big toe joint. The surgery is performed in an attempt to eliminate the forces that cause a bunion, which is an arthritic bump that forms as a result of malalignment of the big toe.
