Tuberculosis: Its Origins and Effects

This is a detailed medical overview of one of the world’s most feared killers. It uses actual body organs and excellent microscopy to illustrate the lecture. The various types of the disease discussed are primary, secondary, non-pulmonary, open, miliary, and bovine tuberculosis, and Pott’s disease. Subtopics include epithelioid cells, Langhans giant cell, granuloma, hypersensitivity reaction, and casseous necrosis.
